The up-cut at the tip clears chips fast, while the down-cut along the cutting length presses fibers back into the surface, leaving edges clean on both sides. With twin bearings guiding you right against the template, you’ll get tear-out-free results whether you’re trimming plywood, veneers, MDF, or solid hardwoods.
